Month 10

Dear Sophie,
Today you are ten months old. You are getting bigger, doing more and becoming yourself more, every single day. Every day you exhibit more personality, are less of a baby and more of a little girl. Sometimes you're sweet and charming, a born flirt. Sometimes you get frustrated and get a temper. Sometimes you just want to go, to go and explore, to go and play, to just go for the sake of going. It wasn't that long ago when you couldn't go.
You no longer like to hold still. Ever. This includes when your diaper is being changed and when you are getting dressed. Baths have quickly become your favorite thing, you love to splash and play with your toys and touch the water as it comes out of the spout. The other day you accidentally turned the shower on and it scared you, which was pretty funny for me but kind of traumatizing for you.
You eat lots of things now. Waffles, pancakes, black beans, rice, any little tidbits off of my plate. You had coleslaw the other day and liked it. Which is good, because your dad and I don't like it and somebody should. I know you're done eating when you start giving your food to the dogs.
I love spending time with you. You're one of my favorite people, and you make it so very easy to fall head over heels with you.
Love,
Mama
